Physics has sequestered the nonlinearity of free energy within the confines of theoretical physics and mathematics to prevent it from becoming an applied science of electrical or mechanical engineering. It remains a controversy to this day because of our ignorance and because of corporate and governmental policy dictating how engineering shall be taught within all of our public school systems and private schools if they are to retain their accreditation.
I wish it was a simple error which could be explained in non-technical terms. But alas, it is not!
But a good example is how physics treats the topic of its ideology surrounding photons.
Instead of giving us an explanation in terms of electrical engineering, we are given a metaphysical philosophy according to quantum mysticism.

The physicist’s descriptions of reality sound more like the dictions of a bunch of lawyers rather than the discourse of scientists – in other words, a man-made contrivance of linguistic license.
